Come Out With Pride is successful thanks to the many volunteers who donate their time every year. This year we are again seeking out individuals who are eager to help fill the wide variety of roles we have, both during the events as well as on our production team in the months and weeks prior.
Pride Week Volunteers
In the time span of just one day, event coordinators will help more than 150 vendors and sponsors set up, guide over 100 floats and groups in the parade, manage dozens of entertainers across multiple stages and guide visitors through the park safely and efficiently. As you can imagine this is no easy task. We depend upon the professionalism, dedication and high standards of our volunteers to help make sure all Pride events are executed efficiently and on time. If you or your organization has what it takes to help us succeed, we invite you to apply once registration opens soon — subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on social media for the latest updates.
Volunteers can expect to work roughly 3-4 hour shifts, with some positions starting as early as 8:00AM and others ending as late as 10:00PM. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older by the day of the event. Each volunteer will be provided with:
- A volunteer t-shirt
- Food and drinks on your break
- Reference material for safety and communications
- Assignment training
Production Team Volunteers
We are searching for several core volunteers to assist with some of the more intensive aspects of the event production including festival & operations, entertainment, finance and other roles. The work you produce will be invaluable and an integral part of making Orlando’s largest single-day parade and festival a reality!
